Good day, I trust you are well. I need to find out if the situation I am currently dealing with... if I have a case... I am a 40 year old mother of 3, I am married, I started studying through a college in Durban in the beginning of this year. The owner of the college told me I will get so much learning and knowledge in just 6 months, that is why the monthly installment is so high because of the training, knowledge and experience you get. I am supposed to do my trade test in July... I started in February and for the first 4 Mondays in February things went well. I then noticed a definite decrease in training and learning... The owner of the college also runs 2x salons and a ministry so she is always very busy... she also helps kids who are involved in drugs etc to help reform them she gives them a job in her salon... to try lead them out of negative lives etc... So as the time passed, I got less and less training and learning and practical experience etc by the end of April I was starting to get very upset, paying so much money and not getting what was promised to me... Each time I went there I was doing everything other than what I was paying to get... I was running around in my car, my fuel running errands for her, giving her clients lifts HOME to Durban CBD... other times driving around the whole day fetching people, her daughter and grand kids... by this stage i was getting very angry... I have tried to talk to her and explain i need to learn hairdressing not do all the things i have been doing for her. After speaking to her about that nothing changed... then i heard she was going overseas for 3 weeks... I was furious ... so close to July when i am supposed to do my trade test and we've hardly covered any aspects of the trade test... When i ask her if the trade test is definitely in July as promised by her, she says "that's how it looks but no guarantees "... I have paid R so far... she is refusing to pay my money back... please advise
I visited the BP station located at Morninghill to refuel my car. During this visit, I also asked the attendant to fill water in my coolant water container. However, the employee who assisted me neglected to secure the water pump bottle after filling it. As a result, the bottle remained open, causing the cooling system to malfunction and leading to my car overheating and got damaged. I want the garage to pay the money i spent on repairs.
Hi. I was unfairly dismissed end of February after 8 months at new company. General Manager is a foreigner and thinks he's a dictator. I was overwhelmed by workload and got no support, they just added tasks. Refused PLC training. More than 25 years experience in Industrial Instrumentation. Trade in Instrumentation and no trade in Heavy current, just knowledge. I was headhunted. No support from employer. Was booked off during December due to stress and depression. Was in Wellness clinic for 3 weeks. Was fired without warnings.

I was scammed back in and people’s money were involved in me being scammed so now I have 1 of the people who I got scammed with , demanding their money from me even when I’ve explained and apologised for what happened. She wants my confidential information to fill in her affidavit to open a case against me and I can’t do that so I need a legal advice on what to do in this situation
We were unfairly dismissed by Riviera On Vaal Hotel and Country Club in December while under Covid-19 Lockdown.We were 51 and all members of ECCAWUSA which was then our workers union.Our case started at Vereeniging CCMA in and proceeded to Johannesburg Labour Court.Along the way our union lost their certificate and they didn't notify us.Then last year when they were approached by the shopstewards about the progress of our case that's whereby they gave them the case number number.The shopsteward did a follow up of the case at Labour Law and discovered that the union did not submit some important documents that were needed for the Labour Court to proceed with our case.When they were asked about this matter they decided to hand-over our case files to the shopsteward.From last year up until now the shopstewards have submitted all the relevant missing documentsat the Labour Court and applied for a court hearing date.So we are waiting for a respond from the Labour Court.As shopsteward we though we can represent our case at the Labour Court to be told that we don't qualify.We are looking for someone who is qualified to represent us.Some of our members were hired by the so-called New Owner under new contracts.But the majority of them were not hired.We didn't receive any compensation from our employer for terminating all our contracts.

Good day Can you kindly assist me in getting my job back. I worked for a company for 7 years. After changing the OD my mother passed way and I wasn't coping since the denied me a transfer. I ended up resigning on the 1st of July . My then fiancé was the one taking care of us, sadly he passed away due to a car accident on the 1st of August. My employer is in the process of being listed on JSE. Beginning of this year they did MSA on some employees and now they want to do another round of layoffs without doing the legal route of retrenchments so they’ve sent me a performance improvement contract.. essentially giving me 3 months with no justified job description or KPIs.
