I live abroad and my wife and I have decided to part ways. Years back she agreed to file for the devoice. She completed all documents and when I was in South Africa we went to the sheriff’s office and signed all necessary documents. Years have passed and I still have not received any feedback. I need to know what my legal rights are, after the house I have bought after my divorce, Had to be registered on my eldest son's name, due to the fact that I was unemployed at the time, and could not qualify for a bond in person. After about 8 years, he has sold the house, and know has bought another house registeted on his, and my second son's names. The divorce setlement stated that the money from the house that my ex husband had to sell was to be devided between both of us, but then he arranged that I could only get 25% of the money, and that the other 25% should be put aside for our 2 adult children both over 18 years old, for further studies. Husband is unemployed for 5 months,he got dismissed from work.Spend all hes pension money. Packed some of hes belonggings and got onto a plane last week Monday 30 March leaving a note stating that he got a potential interview in Gauteng ever since then I have not heard from him or any contributions was offered from hes side or familys side to support hes children aged 4&5.
