I have been researching and all confirms we have to do a transfer at the deeds office as a new deal. I want to know how I can donate / sell 50%of the property ( not at current house value but for a minimal amount ) thereby reducing transfer duties and able to execute the requirement. I have just purchased the property and paid transfer duties and it will not be feasible to do this all over again and pay the transfer fees especially if the is legal.
