Nothing, they did not deliver on the contract and they got paid 89 p ercent of the quotation, when the agreement was that they get 50% deposit and the remaining 50% is paid when the job is done. We are very disappointed as they didn’t come back to finish the fencing wall building after we refused to pay them the remaining retainer, when they demanded we pay the balance before they completed the work. They also did not complete the painting in the house and we had already paid the balance of the 50% retainer amount as they kept asking for payment. They did an untidy job with painting and didn’t clean the house with the paint drops everywhere, floor, furniture, wardrobes, doors, curtains , outside stoop, finishing touches were not done to ensure that the painting on the wall does not go over the cornices and vice versa. The neighbours yard was not cleaned of the rubble they caused when building our wall and removing the old slabs between our house and the neighbour’s house. They left our house and yard full of rubble everywhere outside, and didn’t clean the paint spills and drops in the house contents, floors and fixtures. They left with compromised security as they made an opening facing the highway, as they were building the wall at the back of the house facing the freeway in an unsafe area. They left without closing the opening.

The wall plastering at the front of the yard is a complete shoddy job, and absolutely poor workmanship. We believe they were taking advantage because we are only females at home, my 89 year old mom and myself at home. They left us with a yard full of building materials and no space as we now have to take time to find new builders to ensure all the blocks, cement, sand
