It seems my then municipal account was not closed, nor new owner opened. Now City of JHB is threatening legal action and is requesting payment of the municipal account for the past 16 years. I've been to the Municipality - they say they can not help me if I can't produce the original transfer documentation. I need a for a copy of the historical transfer deed showing that ownership officially changed. I did provide them with a property report, which they could not accept
We rented a property that was misrepresented by the landlord and agents. The agreed move‑in date was 30 November , but the previous tenant had not vacated. We arrived with our truck and were locked out, only moving in on 01 December .The property was not newly renovated as advertised. The pool was in poor condition, the solar‑heated system never worked, and several fixtures were defective. Despite these issues, we paid rent for six months while being strung along by the landlord and agents.We eventually withheld part of the rent, covered utilities that were already in arrears, and attempted to negotiate a rebate. This matter was escalated to the Rental Housing Tribunal. However, even with a pending case, the landlord issued a summons for payment. We have since vacated the property and now require legal assistance to address the misrepresentation, recover losses, and respond to the summons.

Its related to a Buy out we married in COP . OTP R approved bond. Property valuation is R. My conveyancer paid outstanding Bond and all other fees and split 50% for our share. My ex is apposing saying it should not be split 50% as the R is his 50% share. What's the correct calculation or should we use market value.
Police have opened a docket for reckless driving when a pedestrian contacted with driver side mirror trying to cross the road when i was approximately 2-3 meters away. Driving approximately 40k/h on a 60km/h road. No pedestrian crossing lines on the road. I immediately stopped and packed the vehicle on the side. Went to check on the pedestrain. Police can and ambulance was called.
