How much does an architect cost in South Africa?
The South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) publishes "standard rates" based on a price per square meter when using a building cost of R12 500 per m².
I need to remodel a small 48sqm home’s interior layout by removing a wall to create an open-plan kitchen-living area, and redoing the kitchen and bathroom. I also need to replace the roof (currently asbestos), ceiling, windows and doors, and finishes. I also want to add a front stoep with braai. Please would you let me know if you can assist.

We are looking to draw and develop 3 bedroom townhouses.
A single carport has been changed/converted to a garage but these changes have not been indicated on the house plans. I need someone who is able to make these changes because the home owners association are now saying that it needs to be done asap.

Our two story house's living space is the top floor...bedrooms are bottom floor. Its basically the "stoep-area" above our garage that i want to rebuild into a indoor braai area...as well as a room. So the entire i think 20sqm area of the stoep will be converted into a 8 sq room and indoor braairoom. Braairoom 12sqm approx.
We are looking at building a loft apartment above the garage as well as renovating the interior of the main house. The main house renovation will include interior redesign of bathrooms and a kitchen as well as extending the kitchen to incorporate the courtyard. We are looking for an architect to do a site visit and advise us as best they can on what is possible and on what might not be.
