A faulty chimney in a fireplace of an old house caused the loft floor and yellow wood beams to catch fire, some damage was done, not extensive. This floor needs to be restored to its original state and the chimney made safe / beams insulated for proper future use. 2. Leaking roof areas caused substantial internal damage, damp on walls and damage to meranti ceilings.
