I want to add a scullery to my kitchen of approximately 6m2. The work will involve building three new walls, adding a doorway in the loadbearing wall, a single window and a tiled roof. I have discussed the project with an architect and I will submit the plans once I have an idea of the costs involved to determine if it is financially within my reach.

We have a plot in velddrif and need to build a typical fishermans cottage. We aiming for to sqm. Single story but might consider 1 guest type flatlet upstairs for kids or holiday accomodation. We do not have plans yes but trying to get a feel for building costs. Corrugated roof sheeting, all alluminium frames. Not the most basic of finishes but not over the top either. Typical Cobra of maybe hans grohe, Quarts kitchen finishing etc. Will build 3 garage either big 3 door or 1 X double + 1 X single depending on what the land allows. Will for sure have water storage an solar but I think leave that our of the build estimate we can deal with that seperately.
