Wallpaper vs. Paint: The pros and cons
Choosing between wallpaper and paint is not always easy. Let's look at advantages and disadvantages of both.
Require a quote for a repair for a water meter with a leak on the incoming pipe from the main in the street, to entering the meter. The meter is old apparently and the brass or copper pipe seems to be rusty and is clearly leaking at the joint. It possibly has more leaks. 1 Main bedroom (3 walls and 1 wall with window). 3 standard bedrooms (2 walls, 1 wall with window and 1 with wardrobes). Passage both sides. Living room (3 walls and one with sliding door). Reception room (3 walls and one with double window). Dining room (3 walls and 1 with window). Study room the size of a single garage (3 walls and 1 with window). Ceilings fir all those rooms. Ceiling needs some fixing. I need an estimate quote. Most of the walls are currently Grey and need to paint them cream or a homely color. Need quote to include the cost of the paint.
We’d like to request a quote for the following activities: - Scoping and changing water usage at an office building; - This would include, installation of taps, which use less water; - Reduce bucket load of toilets/placing a brick in them or having spring mechanisms installed for no continued flushing by accident; - Water efficiency at the car washing area? They already use a hose. - We would like to implement changes that do not have to change peoples behaviors, rather work around those behaviors. i.e. reduce water coming out of taps for example, instead of trying to police people. - The office block has two levels and a small house area and a security house, this would then include o 2x women’s bathrooms, o 2x men’s bathrooms, o A bathroom for the apartment, o Bathroom for the security hut. We'd need the work to reduce water consumption by at least 20% and need a quote to approve funding requirements. Please let me know if there is any additional information I could supply. The funding is a fund we are fetching for a greening of a building. Funds will be released, we just need to know how much.
I recently installed a jojo tank where the builder placed the pipes underneath a concrete slab but the conrete ended up in the pipes thus blocking it. I would like to relay a small portion of the pipe which directly comes out of the jojo tank and also lift the pump by 30cm. We will have to use a angle grinder to get the pump out.
We have a rumbling sound from what we think is air in water pipes in the ceiling that occurs regularly. This has been an ongoing problem for approximately two months. We have had four plumber call outs (two plumbers). Bathroom tap washers and toilet rubbers have been replaced. Pipes in the roof have been secured. Finally, a ' Hammer Arrestor to the Cold Tap' has been installed. All to no effect. There doesn’t seem to be a solution. The rumbling even sometimes occurs in the middle of the night. Our geyser is on the front wall of the garage. About two months ago we had the geyser moved to a side wall in the garage as we were advised that it was to close to the electricity board and an inverter we had installed. I am not sure whether this could be the problem.
Fourteen living units in the complex, with more or less 3 rooms each. Five big windows per unit. Some safety grids and two small doors outside also need to be painted, 4-5 smaller windows (0.5 m per window) as well. We want to remove all the old paint as it has cracked severely. Some windows have cracks in as well that need to be filled in the process.

I would need a good roof painter to seal our large IBR roof as it requires sealing in some areas like joints and roof screws that has been sealed before not more than 3months ago I need a good roof painter to relook at this to assure all is in order in this regard to protect me as the owner going forward as the insurance company I have requires that maintenance has been done through me to pay a claim if I have leaks going forward etc. House roof area is Square meters covering my entire home. We live in an older house. Our washing machine is working quite well, but we need someone to come out and check because our washing sometimes comes out with yellow-ish or orange stains. This also happens in the sink as well and because it is several spots in the house - I think it could be a problem with our pipes. They could be rusted.
Approximately sqm to be painted. Top view is sqm but with the pitch 35 degrees and which makes the paintable area approximately sqm. Also need the gutters, facias and downpipes to be painted. The house is double volume. The roof needs to be cleaned, etched, and painted with 2 coats by means of airless spray.
