Existing Marley Modern tiled roof is in extremely poor state, only installed 4 years ago so trusses should be OK. Looking at replacing with high quality Chromadek / Klip Lok with good insulation to keep house cool in summer. Must be suitable for solar panels - I will arrange removal & re-installation these. See accompanying diagram of roof. Please can you give a ballpark indication of what it would cost to remove existing tiles, install top quality insulation, Chromadek, valleys etc. Existing gutters to be kept.
This is a sea-view property we are planning to acquire with the intention to re-model. We are considering both a medium and full-scale remodelling dependent on budget. We are installing a new kitchen and refurbishing our wooden floors in open flow lounge, dining room, kitchen. Tops are being installed next week Wednesday and wooden floors will be finished then too. This is a big area of about 85sqm, which includes a scullery. The kitchen design and colours are finalised. We need assistance with types of backsplash for kitchen, flooring for small area in scullery and then layout of furniture for lounge and dining areas. We would like to use as much of our current furniture and decor but are happy to upcycle and make some changes. We need help with colours too, and styling.
