I need bookkeeping and tax return to be done.
I am looking for an accounting service that will be able to provide me with continuous advice on how to best structure my tax liability to be cost effective, provide advice on whether deductions will be allowed/not allowed prior to filing a return to ensure that the return is settled with as little additional to and fro as possible without costing me in interest. I also need the consultant to take charge of when I need to submit what (as a provisional tax payer) and keep in constant communication with me on progress. I do not want someone that just take my money and leaves me to follow up with either them or SARS on what is happening. I want to feel that I am able to ask questions and discuss possible solutions without the clock ticking at a Rand a minute. A set fee would be preferred so that I can budget accordingly.
The above mentioned store was previously registered in my fathers name. My Father has been ill for a year now and we decided to move the store to my moms name. I am not sure if the previous account has submitted the returns to date before my mom took over the store and I would also need assistance in submitting the current tax returns.
