I am the tenant of a restaurant/franchise business . My commercial lease expired and has been running month-to-month. I have accumulated rental arrears and previously signed Acknowledgements of Debt (AODs) with the landlord. To settle the full debt, I concluded a signed Sale of Business Agreement with a buyer who is ready, willing, and able to take over the premises and sign a new lease with the landlord. The sale proceeds will cover all outstanding arrears in full. The landlord has refused to consent to the lease cession/transfer and instead issued a letter purporting to cancel the lease with immediate effect and demanding I vacate by 30 March which is days away. No court order has been obtained. I need urgent legal assistance with the following: 1. Challenging the validity of the cancellation notice (insufficient notice period under SA common law) 2. Defending against eviction — no court order exists and the landlord cannot self-evict 3. Compelling or persuading the landlord to consent to the lease cession so the sale can proceed and the debt can be settled 4. Filing an urgent High Court interdict to prevent eviction if necessary The matter is extremely urgent: the purported eviction deadline is 30 March .
I need a quote for a solar installation at my residential property. Im planning on installing 10 panels on my roof, a 5kva inverter, 1x 5kva battery and all additional required - AC/DC combiner boxes etc. Ive gotten the quote already for the comprehensive components - My garage is seperate from my home about 5x meters from the back of my house where the inverter and battery etc must be installed - I also require a valid COC from the electrician whom needs to be listed on the COCT portal for the SSEG registration as well as a valid COC
about 20 years ago I had plans approved by the previous Tongaat Town Board to extend my servants room with an extra room and build a double garage on top. I had the extra room outer walls build and everything stopped there. Serious life changes has now forced me to relocate my family and I have to complete the building process. To save time I will no longer extend the single garage to a double garage. I've already had the xtra room below covered with block an beam slab. I need a new plan to show the change from a double garage to a single garage.
I have a 4x4 m pool wit a smaller jacuzzi type that fills into the main pool when recirculating water. Wen pump is turned on it works ok but as soon as the filter hose is connected it does not want to suck. It starts to an then immediately stops vacuuming. I also notice the water level is dropping by abt 2 cm overnight with the pump being off.

I am planning a house that is square meters. It is on a slight slop on a coastal area. Top of slope will be single story, midway down the slope will have a (partially) underground garage and front part (bottom of slope) will be single story with stilts and deck.
