7 things to consider when building a carport
Before building a carport, you need to know what you want and what you can afford.
Double carport for 2 cars attached to the double garage with x 2 poles and gutter, IBR steel roof. It must match the carports in the Complex. The carport has been approved by the Complex Body Corporate. Once the quote is received, I will make a decision and ask for the Carports to be done. Currently my vehicle does not fit into the garage and that is the need for the Carports. I am in Elarduspark, Pretoria East.

Need space to house a caravan and a trailer (approx. 6 x 7m with a minimum height of 2.7m). I want the carport to double as a garage, i.e. closed sides and roll-up doors, and also a pedestrian entrance door. The area needs to be deforested, levelled and paved, you may include this in your quote or I could source an alternative provider for this.

We have 24 carports (steel) and a shade net for 3 cars. We would like to fix the current carports (steel) with new steel and fix the shade net. The other option would be to completely change the steel carports to shade nets, so we would like 2 different quotes: 1. Fixing current carports 2. Two carports. The first one is about 7.4m W x 6mL. One side (6mL) will be fixed against a wall and the other side on poles. No middle pole on the 7.4 m width side. That side is the entry side for the vehicles. Second one. 6mL x3m W. 6m side fixed against a wall. no poles on the other side. Lots of wind and close to the sea. Must be rust-resistant.

I will prefer not to use poles but rather use support pillars build with face brick which I have available. This will match the face brick of my house
Hi I am looking for a carport that would be 8m long to fit two cars next to each other, please. I would like to hang roller/drop blind on each side of the carport. I have attached pictures of where I want the carport to be. It needs to be a solid roof and not a net. Is this something that you assist me with? Hope to hear from you soon. Charéll
Good morning Please would you quote me for building the carport attached. I've attached the following: 1. Picture of my house where the carport will be 2. My neighbour's carport (my carport should also be similar) 3. Drawings by architect (6m x 6m are the dimensions), they have been approved by municipality finally 4. The picture of an example where the 4th pillar needs to be slightly in (this will also be necessary in my carport, for easy exit out of the garage).
I have a double door garage and interested in a simple but smart carport with open sides and my house have no gutters I want the water from the roof to fall on the carport then to the garden in other words the carport should slant a bit to the garden which will be on the left from main gate.I had a net scotch type of a port but now have put some corrugated irons on the scotch shape but not happy with it at all.Want to give it a nice flat design
