I have an old house that needs a face lift. It’s a 3 bedroom house. I need a quote on removing a wall between the kitchen and lounge to create an open plan space. I also need a quote on removing a wall between the toilet room and bathroom to create a one bathroom. We’d like to change the floors from carpet to vinyl throughout the house and update the popcorn walls to flat walls. Some of the walls have cracks in them and I’m not sure if they can just be plastered. We’d also like to update the bathroom and kitchen by adding new cabinets, basins, etc. Basically a full renovation. We are simply looking for quotes at this stage as we’d like to know how much we need before we can begin with the renovations

We have purchased a house in Century City and would like to have it painted inside before we move in at the end of October. We will need the walls, Ceiling, skirtings and doors painted. Ceiling and skirtings should be white. Doors Grey and walls off-white/grey. We need to still choose the paint colours . We require a quote from a reputable painter for this job.

The current garage and outbuildings must be converted into a one bedroom flatlet with small kitchen. A workshop will be added to this at the back. New addition with a TV room and three ensuite bedrooms will be build onto the current house. Attached find current house plans as well as a plan for the new project. The specifications are as follows: Cemcrete or relevant floor, no floor tiles. Structure build with light clay stocks to be washed and sealed with limited plaster and paint work. Open roof trusses painted white. No solar or electrical geyser only Gas geysers for all bathrooms and kitchen. Gas stove for main house kitchen. No stove for flatlet. Covered patio. Windows to specifications. Lights and fittings to specifications. No baths for the 4 bathrooms only showers.
KITCHEN: water inlets put in for a washing machine and dishwasher and the electrical plug point for them, kitchen walls painted correctly, curtain rail put up above window. BATHROOM: most crucial is painting**, then - put up a curtain rail above the window, (potentially bathroom redone - new toilet, bath and sink). GENERAL: light bulbs replaced in 3 rooms (2 LED bulbs per room), floors need replacing throughout apartment - tiles - but we would like advice (55 sqm apartment).
