We arrived with our truck and were locked out, only moving in on 01 December .The property was not newly renovated as advertised. The pool was in poor condition, the solar‑heated system never worked, and several fixtures were defective. Despite these issues, we paid rent for six months while being strung along by the landlord and agents.We eventually withheld part of the rent, covered utilities that were already in arrears, and attempted to negotiate a rebate. This matter was escalated to the Rental Housing Tribunal. However, even with a pending case, the landlord issued a summons for payment. We have since vacated the property and now require legal assistance to address the misrepresentation, recover losses, and respond to the summons.

Its related to a Buy out we married in COP . OTP R approved bond. Property valuation is R. My conveyancer paid outstanding Bond and all other fees and split 50% for our share. My ex is apposing saying it should not be split 50% as the R is his 50% share. What's the correct calculation or should we use market value.
Wife wants me to pay 50% of maintenance, which i agreed but only if i have income.. I work freelance in a struggling film sector and cannot sign a legal document forcing me to pay R9k a month if i have zero income while shes on a monthly solid paycheck..
