I have an ocean-facing apartment and wish to replace existing glass fronts with more modern sliding doors which can incorporate both inside and outside living. Envisaged is an extension of interior space by approx. 30 sqm with a loss of that space from the existing patio. In addition an open roof covering (for protection from the sun) attached to an outside facade of the existing complex of approx. 6 by 2.5 metres needs to be incorporated into the design.
