I have a 3 bedrom house with 3 adults, my basic enegry need is for Refrigerator, Geyser, Washing machine and small appliances like microwaves... So I need grid tied solar system that can help reduce the electricity bill for me. I have a budget of up to 50k for the initial solution, so I need something that is more scalable. I have 2 x 1 bedroom ground floor rental units that I would like to add solar to. the solar must be on the roof and linked to Eskom to use, should this become necessary. the units do not use more than units of electricity per month, but i want the solar to be able to provide electricity for units pm. I am currently renting a 6KVA system from Gosolar. I now have the option to pay them to come and take it away, or buy there system which i believe is overpriced. I need quotes on a 6kva, set up, but also larger as we will shortly be installing a borehole as well as buying an EV. My priority is saving money as opposed to back-up as we also have a generator

I currently have a 6 kw Growatt Inverter plus dyness 48 Volt battery installed for backup power. I have bought 16 Solar Panels- 6 Jinko Panels ( watt) and 10 Canadian Panels Watt that needs to be installed on the roof (in two strings). I have bought the rails, metal conduit piping plus roof brackets plus PV wire plus (dc box for one string). I need for the installation to be registered with Ekhurhuleni before installation and COC etc.
We had a 8kW inverter and 20kWh battery (14kWh usable at new) system with panels and solar water heating system installed in which has come largely to the end of its life (batteries need replacing and MLT inverter is often malfunctioning).
