I'm looking to extend 2 areas on my existing home: 1. New living room/playroom, adjoining the existing dining room (approx 18sqm) 2. Small lateral extension to existing garage to accommodate a golf cart (approx 11sqm) Also to include: The stormwater drainage system and gas fireplace (as per attached approved plans) Builders need to be NHBRC approved
The water is getting under the belcony tiles which has caused dampnest of my wall and the paint is pealing off. It's only 6sqm the tiles has to be removed, and torch-on bitumen applied then re-tiled. I want it done as soon as the walls and the belcony has dried completely. Because the last guy that did it said it would last 10 years and it's not even 6, the second picture is to show the state of the walls directly below the belcony. Patio to be enclosed - approx (w) x 6m(h) 3. 2 x windows to be replaced from wooden frame to aluminum windows and door - approx size 2,4 x 2m. One to be a 4 part sliding door. 1. Kitchen Kitchen recently gutted and DIY fixes put in place. We are now looking at changing countertops and the cabinet to be much more user friendly. We prefer draws to cuboards for below counter. The floor to ceilng pantry cupboard needs to be replaced with a counter top with under-counter draws. We are hoping to keep exising cabinetry, but adapt the cuboards to draws. The above counter cabinets require new cupboard doors. We a have a blue (undercounter) and Whte above counter design. Window treatment must include a frame and window sill. Back door to be replaced with alluminium new sink. All plumbing works are complete. 2.Bathroom ( Main) We recently renovated our en-suite and would like to create the same design in the main bathroom, whihc is currently tiled floor to ceiling. only seeking new tiles up to half the wall ( white subway) - new Toilet, new sink and floating cabinet to replace existing items. 3.Patio / Fire Pit / Deck Require compbination of non-slip tile and maintenace -free decking. Retainer wall for splash pool to be retiled Patio area requires new IBR sheets and a ceiling installed. Patio adjacent requires small pergola Fireplace on patio requires some TLC (waterproofing / Cracks filled) and a fitted braai into the exising structure Fire Pit requires some adjustment to the cement seating as well as tiling / appropriate floor finish Patio requires roller blinds for wind protection 4. Knock through main bedroom wall into second bedroom - move electrical outlet - fit sliding barn door. 6. Remove bathroom door from main ensuite - fit sliding barn door 7. remove skirting boards in preparation for: 8. lay decorative screed floor over terracotta tile - whole house (m2 - house is empty of furniture - tile in good condition) 9. Paint natural wood ceilings in bedrooms x 4, kitchen & scullery - +/- m2 10. Drill hole for extractor fan exhaust in exterior roof (exhaust routed above ceiling - across kitchen - out of pitched tin roof)
Need new broom cupboard. New top for scullery. New stovetop. New zink and fittings. Fix all cupboard doors etc.
My interior walls have damp patches along the wall inside the house. My exterior walls often look damp on the bottom part. They are made of facebrick
I need to extend a perimeter wall. I'll also need to remove part of the old perimeter wall and dispose of the rubble.
I want to renovate my bathroom, I am thinking of adding a shower and maybe removing the bathtub. I will discuss all the project specifications with the appointed contractor. Thank you
