Basically I have not received invoices to pay my monthly levies and water and electricity, my husband would blindly pay it and i told him no more and we asked for invoices, and never got them, even though we have money we need an invoice but now we received a summons that we have 10 days to pay or our water and lights will be cut off. I was on sick leave due to depression and anxiety added by the EIO and line managers aggressive ways of communication. When I was approached by my husbands lawyer she offered me R15, for me to not contest the divorce which I agreed to because I am financially in a disposition. After I was served with the subpoena I did write a notice not to contest and sent it to the relevant attorneys. But I have reconsidered my options and realised that I would be making a mistake to not at least take advantage of the discovery process because I believe that there is merit in me claiming maintenance and also my share of a law suite involving me and my husband and another law firm who represented us while we were still married. I have suffered immense loss and I am barely getting by. I think its only fair to myself to atleast discuss how my husband could potentially help me. He is working and I am not.
