We are looking to acquire a property that we would like to remodel. Before making an offer on the house, we would like to get a rough understanding of what the project would cost. The project should then start immediately after the title of the house has been transferred. Besides modernizing the interior (more open plan living layouts, new floors, new bathrooms (5) and new kitchens (2)) we also want to build a pool and paint the house a different color, potentially changing the look of the brick house by plastering the outside. A new window will be inserted into bathroom by my window manufacturer. That window must be closed up and exterior repaired also. Interior: remove bath and replace with new. Tile over wood floor and up dry wall. Position taps for new double basin. Retile and structure shower. *Pics of current bathroom. Am flexible but would like to start soon’ish. * need two-three weeks to order window before job starts
The House is 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bath, and a Garage. I would like to a convert the living, the main bedroom and the Garage in Bachelor with 3/4 bathroom and a kitchenette. Then, the kitchen is to be remodelled as a Bachelor with only a 3/4 bathroom. An outside door needs to be opened in one of the rooms. Both rooms need to be linked. The toilet should be converted into a 3/4 bathroom. The shower needs to be converted into a kichen, to be shared between the connected rooms and a Bachelor.
Good day. I want to brake open the dining room wall and build a 7m x 4m braai room onto the house. The braai needs to be removed from the patio and sealed. The window that will be removed need to be used on side of the new room. The other side needs a sliding door that will go out to the pool area. I need a wall build on the patio to make 2 rooms. The one sliding door that will be remove will be replaced with the window of the one room that will become bigger. The one room on the back needs to be extended with a meter. So, it will be plus minus 35sqm project. I need quotes to see what I need to budget for as I want to start this project in January
Old cottage on a farm with structurally sound walls and roof (zinc, A-frame). Cottage is approximately 60sqm and has one bedroom with en-suite bathroom and walk in shower. Other bedroom is bit smaller with no en-suite bathroom. The second bathroom has it's own separate entrance (thus functions as a guest bathroom). The entire property is essentially hollowed out, all that remains are walls and roof. I have a minute a minute and a half worth of footage which couldn't be uploaded.

I have a Facebook house, I want to plaster most of the internal walls. Also want to break down walls between living room, dining room and kitchen to make it open plan. Also want to put island and new cupboards in kitchen and rooms. Want to upgrade/modernise the bathrooms. Might want to add a 4 x 4 meter extension to the main bedroom, so I can also make the bathroom bigger and add a dressing room. At the back, I want to break out some of the windows of the lounge and dining room to add large sliding doors. Want to redo the pool. Want to redo the fence. Want to just change the entrance a bit to give it a more modern look from the front.
This is a renovation project to a fix resultant damage from a burst water pipe in the upstairs bathroom. The extent of damage is fairly minimal and the leak has already been fixed. I need quotations to inform the insurance assessment. Scope of works includes: Rebuilding of a kitchen BIC Retiling a few tiles that were knocked out when pipe was fixed. Screed, priming and painting in the kitchen, lounge, upstairs bedroom and entrance. Potentially replacing a back (external) door.
We would like to renovate our kitchen using different cupboards and counter tops, preferably quartz or bamboo without changing the plumbing of the area, as well as installing a gas stove. The bathrooms would need a full remodel repositioning the bathtub, toilet and vanity in one bathroom and replacing the bathtub with a shower in the second bathroom.
