Do I need an architect if I want to build a house in South Africa?
A professional that is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession must submit the building plans before extending, renovating or building a home.

hi there, i would like to remodel my house. It currently has 3 and half bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living areas, kitchen and a small dining area. i am hoping to remodel, objective being to efficiently utilise the space. possibly creating an office space. property is approx sqm, of which the build is about sqm of that.
