I have had zero (literally zero) elec. used since midnight and yet my prepaid for past week has been reflecting vast usage...I keep a record of almost every day re what appliances used, how long the geyser is on for etc this makes NO sense. Single occupant on and soared up to R to R p.m. ridiculous no stove, no longer even a table top stove...no heating geyser was off...Kettle filled once or twice a day and boiling water put in thermo flask

There's an electrical fault in our home in regards to heating electrical appliances like (i.e. 2 hotplate stove, microwave, kettle) that get damaged when plugged in 3 specific wall sockets on the kitchen walls. This normally happens 4 months after the purchasing of the appliances.The 4th wall socket in the kitchen isn't giving any problems as it is used to plug the refrigerator only. All other appliances utilized in other rooms in the house don't get damaged as well as the heater which is frequently plugged in the lounge area.
