When do I need a building permit in South Africa?
In South Africa, building applications for the construction of property and land use are highly regulated.
A small, modular Recovery Plant is required that will be fully enclosed. To fit all the major pieces of equipment the building exterior high will be about 10m, width roughly 6m and length about 8m. The interior will house the equipment, when fully operational these pieces of equipment together will approximately weigh about 12tons - therefore the interior needs to have a steel/iron structure that holds these pieces in the correct position. To access all parts the structure would need to have a staircase. Ideally the building will have good ventilation to regulate the temperature inside the buidling.
Good Ventilation, a conveyor will stick out of the enclosed building and a the will be openings for incoming and outgoing pipelines. Therefore unsure if an air-conditioned space is a possibility. The describes the exterior of the building. We require an architect to serve on a Specifications Committee to determine the specifications that should be included in a tender for the construction of a Community Arts Centre. STAND is an implementing agency for Provincial Government. We were tasked to draft a tender document to invite submissions for the Construction of the Arts Centre. We however require the expertise of an architect/ engineer to draft the specifications that need to be included in the tender document.
1. I have a small section of wall that is falling over. 1m high wall that holds back the yard work and is about 3 M long that will have to be broken down and rebuilt. 2. We want to plant grass in front yard. Grass needs to be able to withstand a lot of traffic of a dog running up and down and be able to survive shaded winters and in the sun summers. Not sure if this is possible. 3. We want to move our pool to a new location. Ideally rebuild new pool but if better to just move current shell also open to that. Would have to explain in person. We have a terrace wall that is breaking away and will have to be rebuilt and when swimming pool is moved the hole must be filled and everything will have to be repaved. An in person estimate would be best as there are a few moving parts to quote on.

We start with preparation, were prepare the wall by first scrapping the Wall's, closing the wall with polyfil, then sand paper then remove dust from the wall after completing closing the cracks and holes, sandpaper and removing the dust we apply our primer after it dries we apply our first coat, if the wall doesn't require second coat we apply our finishing coat

3 bedroom house with open floor kitchen (possible to fit an island table) and lounge, main bedroom en-suite and the 2 bedroom share a bathroom. Flow Garage can fit 2 cars back to back and drive way. Maximum back space and minimum front space. The yard space is meter square and the can be around - meter square.

Full renovation including kitchen remodel, small guest loo remodel, vinyl flooring for about sqm, paint all walls, stacker doors at entrance, new light fixtures, relining pool, enclosing an 8sqm courtyard to form part of the kitchen as a scullery, removal of pillars in the living area which take up unnecessary space (engineer has said its possible with box support beam).
