Good day I am emailing on behalf of my mother. She has accidentally scratched a ladies car at her church; it was a very minor scratch and as it was a new car the lady took slight and have engaged the insurance to go after her to pay all costs. She has no insurance and does not work. They have told her the excess is one amount and she would need to repay that plus extra costs. The amount is very high... she is turning 75 and they've basically come up with a payment plan for the next 4 years... they have also instructed her not to forward the emails etc to a third party as its between them which I explained isn't legal as she has a right to legal advice. At this stage we want to know what her legal rights are and how much you charge for a consult to get advice on the options and if a letter is needed outlining this how much that would cost?
