The initial expense of installing a solar panel may be pricey, but within a few years, the cost of installation is recouped through your savings. After which, you can enjoy the benefits of free energy which will save you a lot more money in the long run.
If you’re spending between R1800 and R2800 a month on electricity, you’ll need a 5kW kit. And if you’re spending between R2900 and R4300 a month on electricity, you’ll need an 8kWh kit. You can work out your needs based on your monthly electricity spend on the product page of a kit you are interested it. Simply add your average monthly bill amount in the space provided on the top right of the kit page.
The good news is that solar panels can be installed on just about any roof type, but the installation process and mounting hardware might vary from material to material.
I already have 9 panels, use 8, one disconnected was to much for inverter. Need another 7 panels I currently have a Growat 5kw inverter and 3.5kw Pylontech battery, installed two years ago. I want a bigger system, not sure what option is best: trade in old for new or extend current system. I want 8 or 10 kw inverter and two 5k2 batteries with enough solar panels.
Supply and install a fully offgrid solar system to Motorwys Deport 1 X 5kw inverter 48 5kw litium battery x1 w solar panels x 8 canadian all weather Make provision for connection and installation System to be connected offgrid running on a solar with back up to mains Sysems to concentrate mainly on plugs, lights and light duty equipments
Good morning, I currently have a solar system installed at my property in Petervale, Sandton, and I am looking to expand its capacity. I would like to add six additional solar panels (W each). As the roof is flat, the installation will require suitable mounting structures and angled frames. Could you please provide me with a detailed quote, if this is something you are able to assist with?
Goodday . We are looking to subcontract a City of Cape Town approved installer with a proven track record for the following: PV INSTALLATION Providing the required materials, equipment, tools, machines and skilled labours for providing and installing a grid tie Photovoltaic system with backup set for a production capacity of 93kWh/d .Built-in MPPT to accommodate 36x W mono solar panels, Grid/Generator automatic start, Built-in fuse box, Monitoring and data Storage and Operator panel) consisting of Solar Panels, Solar Racks, Smart Invertor(s), Regulators, Connection Cables, Plugs and Sockets ...etc as Main / Stand-by Power Sources that supply power during the day and according to the below item descriptions/specifications. The mode of operation is that the System must always operate from solar and the excess power generation from the Solar panels charging the battery bank. Any additional power generated over and above the building use and battery bank will be supplied back into the local power grid. If the solar production is too low or unavailable it should have an automatic compensation/changeover to work from grid power with possibility of full programming and monitoring. Contractor shall be required to complete a detailed design; producing a design that will service Gold Fields Educational Centre (historic power consumption 93kWh/d) with battery bank that can provide power for all times during a normal day during which the Solar panels cannot directly meet the demand of the building. Additionally the power bank must be able to meet the demand of the building in the event of grid power failure and lack of PV power generation for a period of 8 hours during working hours plus the overnight power requirements. The design must be NRS -2-3 compliant. HYBRID PV SYSTEM Supply and Install Hybrid PV System with Battery Back-Up. The Scope of Works is as follows: "1. I am looking for 3 x w monochrome solar panels/ with an installtion cost. I have 6 panels but l what to slowly upgrade my current system. I want get another 5.1v a lithion ion battery to support my other battery. Unfortunately l have a 11kw invertor that is not a hybrid but that does not worry to much.
I want 2 quotes. 1. I have a geyser solar panel(not big one). I want to buy inverter that will be connected to charge phones, back up lights. I want solar panel to be installed on roof 2. I want 2 quotes. 1. I have a geyser solar panel(big one). I want to buy inverter that will be connected to charge stove and fridge. I want solar panel to be installed on roof
Would like to go Hybrid, but mostly off grid. We use at most kw a month, with our bill being between R - R with eskom. Will probably need at least a 10kva converter, and 20kwh battery (must have a 10 yr warrenty) and enough solar panels to feed household. Will alsoneed to have a app for monitoring and a solar smart switch for the geyser. Lastly a maintenence plan and assistance with eskom registration to ensure I comply with the national regulations.
3x 6kw growatt inverters to be parallell'ed each inverter will have 2 strings of 6 panels . ah battery bank, 36 bifacial w solar panels. Equipment to be installed on the ground floor of the building. We are in a dual living house with 2 adjoined units. Unit 2 already has a Victron 3kw inverter with sufficient solar panels and lithium iron batteries. We wish to add a second Victron 3Kw inverter with related solar panels (installed on a flat roof) to unit 1. We already have the required lithium iron batteries currently supporting an invertor that is to be discarded. We hope to have the 2 Victron invertors connected in series to work together? Is this possible? We also need a compatible generator to allow us to go off-grid.
I am looking for a renewable energy solution to my 2 bedroomed house with the 2 external rooms with a capability of energizing A fridge , WiFI and TV. This must be a converter with a battery and charged by ESKOM and solar panels to harvest suns rays. It must be around 3 kw. Recommend the cheapest.
