Any new build in SA requires you to have NHBRC registration.

I would like to convert half of the current double garage to a student flat.
We want to build a small stoep in our garden as well as a basic braai. We have a stoep at the moment that we want to extend and tile. We would also like to build a small wall around the stoep that can serve as seating for when we have guests. At the shortest end of the stoep we want to add a working surface in line with the top of the bench seating's top part. The current stoep is about 4x3 m, but we want the new stoep to be about 6x4 m. There is also a basic braai built that we want demolished and a new one built.
Would like to bring under your attention that the newly constructed stairs at checkers by your company are a safety hazard especially for elder people as the tread depth of the stairs are too narrow. My shoes size is no.8 and is hanging over the edge of the steps! I did notify the NHBRC and Checkers Head Office as well as Checkers Management where you are currently working. I am trying to prevent any accident and or claims that may be coming forth in future if someone gets injured.
We would like to break down the dividing wall between bathroom and toilet to create one single bathroom, while also making the bathroom larger by extending into the passage. The bathroom is approximately 3m long, 2m wide. We would then like to fit in a bath and washing machine by extending by approximately 0.75 m. The current bathroom only has a walk-in shower.
