This is the price per square metre for a wood flooring, installed. The price includes the cost of hardwood floorboards and the labour and installation material cost. The total cost largely depends on the chosen wood specie. Hardwood flooring is typically pricier than other types of flooring such as laminate, vinyl, carpet, etc.). Wood flooring costs range between R800/sqm and R2000/sqm with an average of R1400/sqm.

Floor that will provide warmer underfoot than tiling. We have the top vinyl laminate at the moment. the kind that is not glued down. it could not stand up to a thorough flooding these last storms. waterlogged and curling at the edges, strips of vinyl coming off in the heavy traffic areas. What to replace it with ? Insurance claim involved

I have two areas with parquet flooring - 1 off approx 36sqm and the other 15 sqm that is partially sanded and sealed. I want to resand and reseal both these areas. No skirting required. I now live in an old farm house in which the carpets are very old and very stinky. I have a budget. I got a quote for vinyl flooring with skirting amd sealant and self-leveling, but it's too far above my budget. I'm willing to do laminate and see what's the best quote I can get. I wanted sealant because there seems to be water coming in, but we've sealed the roof and the courtyards where there's water build up during rain.

25m2 Shutterply floor to be covered by roof and ceiling and then allround glass stacking doors to follow. Once completed, let's cover the shutterply with a beautiful cost effective vinyl. Looking to purchase the vinyl and install myself, alternatively could be installed by supplier if the price is right.
