I used Procompare to find both an electrician and a roofing pro. I’m no expert, but I think the works on my roof were professionally done, there is no more leaking so far.
I needed a roofing contractor to repair my roof and I chose the one who gave me the best offer. He was kind, professional and he finished the works the next day after he called me. Thank you so much!
I urgently needed someone to repair my roof so I chose the roofing pro that called me first. He repaired it quickly and I think he did a great job. Even though it was an emergency, he did not charge more than the usual price. Thank you!
Your roofing quotations should include payment Information, approximated Timeline, costs, roof estimate materials, full description of work, guarantees and expectations of work, warranty, insurance and licensing Information.
When choosing any contractor to work on your property, you should make sure their work is of good quality. You should get to know their work better by checking through their documentation, verifying their web presence and speaking to them in detail about the job at hand and the process they’ll use to accomplish it.
It is best to repair a roof before a leak occurs. So be careful for possible damages if you detect any. You should also call for repairs if you notice granules all over your gutters or around the perimeter of your house.
How long your roof will last, depends on several factors, mainly on the quality of your roof and the weather conditions of your environment. In general, a roof should be as good as new for between 15 and 25 years.

Good day, I am in the process of purchasing a house (which is still a construction site) and need a quote to finish the roofing system, beam filling, skylights and waterproofing. The house has a butterfly roof design with a boxed gutter running through it. The roof covering most of the house is on, but the part that is on requires beam filling. I also require new roofs over the servants quarters, playroom, entrance hall and lounge area . The building also has concrete slabs and a boxed gutter system which requires waterproofing. There are also skylights which will need to be put in. I have attached the plans of the property to assist you with the calculations.

Problem : Mazista Natural Slate Roof replacement (or fully refurbish with new underlayer). My slate roof is in need of full underlay refurb / replacement by specialist slater, or full replacement alternatives eg . metal, shingle etc. It is steeply pitched double storey at 51 deg with multiple large dormers ( x7 ). Total sloped (ie. slated) roof surface is sqm. The fibre-cement gutters can support ladders. Cost of full underlay refurb versus new outer material covering will be key, however migration to a much lighter roofing material like steel (1/5 est) is a strong factor since de-trussing inner sections will allow creation of wanted loft space, so may override cost concerns. Currently replacement thinking is new Standing Seam metal zincalume type covering (if possible due to complexity of dormer valleys), but also metal shingle look alike products, or simply Everite fibre-cement mitred slates. Bearing in mind that the current trusses will be more than capable of supporting any other roofing material without much modification. P.S. See attachment pictures to give a better idea of the dormers and valleys.
The house to be built is about square meters. I already have the plans but I need your e mail address to forward it to you. The project would be in Hermon, 24 km from Wellington and 30km from Malmesbury. On this plan we need the IBR sheeting to be one whole length sheet of say 1,5 meter wide and 19 meter long. Is such an animal realisable or do I have it miss. work on the complete roofing for this house. Thus kindly send me your e mail and you will then get the plan to compile your quote. Thanks.
I Have 2 x adjoining room spaces with existing concrete slab roofing Approximately 90sqm in total. When i say slab i mean, this was not done to standard by the looks of it. When it rains it leaks and varies probably between 50 - mm thickness, butt brittle as it can be. Bought this house as is. Concrete is cracking and breaking off and pieces fall down. I would like to replace the concrete roofing with IBR sheeting. Need a new registered with Municipality drawing for the change and also would like to break through one wall which already has plinth supports in (this was a large window previously it seems). We will do the breakout and build with our own contractor.
