Call-out minimum (small jobs)
Most tilers charge a call-out fee or minimum for small jobs, such as replacing a few cracked tiles or regrouting. Replacing 3–5 cracked tiles usually costs R300–R1,500 in labour, and regrouting a bathroom R800–R2,500. Bundling several small repairs into one visit saves money. For call-out fee, expect to pay between R350 and R650.
