How long does an architectural project typically last?
Let's go over the timeline for the construction of a new family home.

At the moment we are installing inverters, we would like to sell products related to the solar power industry. We also manufacture detergents, prepared still water and would like to grow it to many other items. For current business and any future trending business. So we would like to sell alot of things if made possible
Piece of land, bushes and trees etc, will have to work with the Parks people to decide on which trees can be removed or not. Architect must be willing to assist wit this and see where the house can stand and how the water system works, septic tanks, etc when drawing up the plans. He must work with a surveyor for the necessary certificates. I speak Afrikaans but my wife Katrina will assist in English. We are based in Pretoria and this is our land in the South Coast. We will liaise with the Architect on the logistics etc.
plumbing a bathroom needs to be done over as it is an old steel bath where plumbing is not in wall but on the wall. tiles also need to be replaced. it will be a bath with a shower overhead, basin also be replaced. garage roof also needs to be done over the wooden strip on wall against which sheeting is mounted is rotting badly so whole roof needs to be done with most of the frame still being in excellent condition. poor waterproofing caused the rot. one face board on the main home also needs to be replaced. possibly would like the wall in front of home removed and replaced with solid sliding steel gate as well. this gate will be manual not motor based
Probably not as many as but not as little as 10, probably between 60 and It will be a website where meals can be ordered, the ingredients boxed and delivered. Something like u-cook but specifically vegan. Needs to give them a choice between 3 boxes from which there will be 20 options per box to choose from then to be able to complete their details for delivery and to pay.
1 Main bedroom (3 walls and 1 wall with window). 3 standard bedrooms (2 walls, 1 wall with window and 1 with wardrobes). Passage both sides. Living room (3 walls and one with sliding door). Reception room (3 walls and one with double window). Dining room (3 walls and 1 with window). Study room the size of a single garage (3 walls and 1 with window). Ceilings fir all those rooms. Ceiling needs some fixing. I need an estimate quote. Most of the walls are currently Grey and need to paint them cream or a homely color. Need quote to include the cost of the paint.
I want to build a 20 unit apartment complex with 10 one bedroom unit and 10 two bedroom units. It must include a large swimming pool, under cover parking/protective parking. Have a reception office near the entrance of the complex. Security office at the gate. A convenient store in the complex and a pre-school.
I did some remodelling inside my house, mostly opening spaces by removing a couple of walls. I re-did the kitchen and two bathrooms. I also added two carports, one in the front and the other at the back of the house. I now only need the new plans to submit to the municipality for approval of the work already done. The are no extensions of the house itself. I have the current approved plans from the municipality in my possession. Re-seller of custom branded apparel. Customers will need to be able to view and select the product they want and specify the branding finishes (number of logos, size, colour, positioning, finish type) they require. This should create an order form which is sent to our office for processing. Product will have basic pricing on the site, but branding is order specific and will require clarification and therefore a quote would need to be generated. No online payment system required.
