1. Balcony window • Re-secure the window bar’s fittings into the correct position across the width of the window. (The window bar came loose and is currently held in place with cable ties.) 2. Balcony wall (Option 1 - Seal & paint) • Remove all paint off balcony wall down to original brick work • Apply x2 coats of xypex concentrate • Apply primer once xypex has dried • Apply x2 coats white bathroom paint (mould-proof) to entire balcony wall, surrounding balcony walls and balcony ceiling 3. Balcony wall (Option 2 - Paint only) • Apply x2 coats white bathroom paint (mould-proof) to entire balcony wall, surrounding balcony walls and balcony ceiling 4. Kitchen wall • Break through a section of the kitchen wall to create a 'sort of' half wall between the kitchen and living room, given the potential structural limitations of the wall. The aim is: To have light carry through from the kitchen to the lounge in the afternoon, and from the lounge to the kitchen in the morning. The apartment is quite dark. To create more of a connection between the kitchen and the living area, making it feel less isolated, but still separated. To ever so slightly increase the usable surface area in the kitchen. 5. Parquet floor sanding • Sand down the parquet floor and baseboards in the bedroom, lounge and entry-way. Then, re-stain with a light stain to remove scratches, stick down loose pieces and overall lighten the apartment. Thanks so much!

As an expert, I can provide you with guidance on how to create a layout plan for the proposed conference/events venue, considering the specifications provided. Here is a suggested layout plan: 1. Accommodation: - Allocate space for hotels, chalets, and lodges in a centralized location within the venue. - Ensure enough rooms are available to accommodate a minimum of people comfortably. 2. Catering facilities/kitchen: - Designate a large area for the catering facilities/kitchen adjacent to the banquet halls for easy accessibility. - Include storage areas for food, equipment, and waste management. 3. Banquet halls: - Place the banquet halls close to the catering facilities to facilitate efficient service. - Design the large banquet hall to accommodate a maximum of people, the medium hall for people, and the small hall for people. - Consider flexible partitioning options to combine or separate the halls if required. 4. Restrooms: - Distribute multiple restroom facilities strategically throughout the venue to ensure convenience. - Allocate separate restroom areas for staff and guests, ensuring accessibility and hygiene. 5. Administrative building: - Include a dedicated administrative building where event organizers and venue staff can coordinate logistics. - Designate office spaces, meeting rooms, and storage areas to support administrative functions. 6. Chapel/place of worship: - Allocate a serene area within the venue premises for the chapel or place of worship, suitable for weddings and other ceremonies. - Ensure the space can accommodate the desired number of guests. 7. Auditorium: - Include a multipurpose auditorium suitable for various events like presentations, seminars, and performances. - Design the space to cater to a significant number of attendees and provide necessary equipment and facilities. 8. Breakaway rooms: - Designate three small breakaway rooms for smaller group discussions, workshops, or seminars. - Each room should be able to accommodate a maximum of 50 people and equipped with necessary amenities. 9. Gardens: - Design and allocate outdoor garden areas suitable for hosting events like outdoor weddings, receptions, or social gatherings. - Consider incorporating greenery, seating arrangements, and scenic elements to create an inviting atmosphere. 10. Additional features: - Based on the specific requirements of the venue and local regulations, you can consider additional features such as parking areas, accessibility ramps, outdoor recreational spaces, or technology infrastructure (audio-visual equipment, Wi-Fi connectivity, etc.).

To whom it may concern. We are would like to build a double storey home in Rangeview on an erf that has spectacular views. Am building a DIY workshop with a high roof so that I can use some of the space a storage. But I do not want to pour a slab because it's too involving. I'd also like this workshop to as close to sound proof as can be. It will be about 4 x 10-12m, put it's maximum floor size at 48 sq m. However, we shall make it go up quite a bit. For noting. I have neighbours on two sides so most of the light will come from the front; with glass blocks up on either side of the neighbours, to maintain their privacy. I'll obviously seek their consent before the NMB approvals.

I am in the process of purchasing a house for which there are no plans. My preferred bank is requiring certified plans for the house to clear the financing. However I am concerned that the process might cause problematic delays. I would like to know what the realistic cost and timeline would be for getting plans drawn up and registered.

A small, modular Recovery Plant is required that will be fully enclosed. To fit all the major pieces of equipment the building exterior high will be about 10m, width roughly 6m and length about 8m. The interior will house the equipment, when fully operational these pieces of equipment together will approximately weigh about 12tons - therefore the interior needs to have a steel/iron structure that holds these pieces in the correct position. To access all parts the structure would need to have a staircase. Ideally the building will have good ventilation to regulate the temperature inside the buidling.

Good Ventilation, a conveyor will stick out of the enclosed building and a the will be openings for incoming and outgoing pipelines. Therefore unsure if an air-conditioned space is a possibility. The describes the exterior of the building. The interior will consist of a steel/iron structure that holds the major pieces of equipment in place which at full capacity will weigh about 10-15 tons and staircases are needed to access the equipment.
