A deck sits over my bedroom. The deck has a water feature and has planter trenches built into the low perimeter wall of the deck. There are signs of damp in the ceiling of the bedroom. I suspect the water feature and planter trenches are the source of the damp. I want to remove the water feature and trenches, and ensure that those areas are waterproof.

The leak is only on one side of the pitched roof close to the parapet wall. The leak is intermittent depending on the angle of the rain. On inspection the tiles all appear to be in good condition and no cracks were found. It could be something to do with the flashing installed where the tiles meet the wall.
the house is a 7.3x7.3m square, with the front wall height 4.2m (all walls cladded with metal sheeting) and the back wall 3m high. the roof is 7.3x7.4m. id like to request a roofing expert or someone with knowledge of flashing and trim, to quote me for the full installation of metal on all four sides of the building, the roof, and a 7.3x3m lean to stoep roof. the site is in de rust, and doesnt have access to electricity. will need battery operated machines for roofing.
I live in an old Victorian house. It’s a grade IIB listed property. I’ll be doing heritage-approved renovations. I’m looking for a builder that understands the requirements for these old homes as all building work needs to be sympathetic to the materials used in these houses (ie, lime mortar and plaster). Portland cement cannot be used as part of this project. Airplast is a good project that should be used instead, so a builder with knowledge of this product or similar is essential.

Install new shower and tile entire floor with only the wall in shower area to be tiled, remaining bathroom to be skimmed and painted white. bathroom is approximately 7 sqm (en suite). We would like to re-do the whole bathroom. Remove the bath and install a shower. replace the tiles on the wall and floor. Replace the toilet and basin and add a floating shelves under the basin. we would also like to re place the ceiling and lights. I want a rain shower as well as a adjustable hand shower. we currently have a shower in the bath but may need to move the pipes to accommodate the new design. We would also like to place the toilet in a different location in the bathroom to make it more spacious. We have an idea of the layout but we are open to suggestions. We would like to start mid March, but would like to work out the budget before then. our bathroom size: cm length by cm width.
My roof leaks every time that there is heavy rain. If there is continuous light rain, it will not leak. It leaks mostly on the Eastern side, but if the heavy rain continues for a while, then it leaks everywhere in the house. My husband keeps insisting that it is the wind blowing in rain, but even when there is no wind and only heavy rain it will leak.
My patio and garage roofs are currently flat roofs, constructed of metal sheeting covered with torch-on waterproofing. The patio roof was damaged in the hail storm in November last year. I would like quotes to replace both of these roofs with proper angled structures, with either tiles per the main house or metal sheeting of a matching colour.
