I am looking at a Residential, full bill-reduction, single-phase system. Current monthly electricity bill is about R to R per month on prepaid metre. Roof is Flat IBR. Have a pool pump. Interested in installing a heat pump for the geyser. Can I get credits for excess power feedback into the grid to use at night?
We have a 4 bedroom house with 3 adults. Additionally we have a 1 bedroom wendy house occupied with 2 adults and another self standing 1 bedroom flat with 1 adult. We have 1 electrical geyser. Other 2 geysers are gas. All electrical appliances as normal, fridges x 3, tvs, hairdryers, combination gas and electrical stove x 2, but one gets hardly ever used. 2 x washing machines and 1 tumble dryer. 2 x kettles.
Big Farmhouse and shed I will install solar geysers. 40 to 50x 60w lights rooms kitchen etc 5 x LED florescent tubes in shed meat saw, 32 mincer and battery charger 4x deep freezers 3 x fridges 4 security lights 3m x 3m 2,5m coolroom two kitchens with gas electric stoves swimming pool pump 1.5 kw borehole pump that is used for 3 to 4 hours per day 3 x ceiling fans workshop with drill and welders and other power tools At present we are using 3phase eskom power but not sure if single phase may be better or more cost effective if we go the solar rout Large roof space facing NNW
I have had a 15 kva system installed 2,5 years ago 18 JA half cut panels , 3 x5 kva Deye inverters and 3 x 5.2 Deyness batteries , since i had a control panel failure on main inverter repaired under warranty , now a loose connection on one stream dc breaker tightened all connectors , my problem is i dont trust the installation thats done would like a inspection and quote .
I will need 2 panels of roughly W. They will connect straight into a Ecoflow Delta 2 Max. The limitation of the Ecoflow's input is 60V and 15 Amps maximum. It connects to the solar panels via two MC4 to XT60 cables (3.5m should be enough). It has two solar inputs so each panel connects to a port.
I have a two Deye inverters and Pylontec batteries. One invert seems to be still working but the WIFI Logger might be faulty as I'm struggling to get the inverter back onto the Solarman monitoring application. Ultimately I'd like to ensure that the system is properly configured so that I can monitor the system (with both inverters). Some of the batteries seem faulty as the LED lights are partially on. Can you assist audit the system and how we can repair and optimize the system?
I have an inverter that is powering my 2 ah lithium iron batteries brand lifepo4 but it gets it power from my electricity box, I am wanting to get solar panels to connect it to my inverter so it does not use my electricity box to charge my batteries. My inverter is a Ecco 3.5kw a mppt model name: HIN
Hello. I have recently moved into this home with 2 x 5kwh batteries and a 5kva inverter. I do not know what the monthly consumption will be, however, previously in my 2 bed-apartment, I used to pay between R - R depending on the season. I would like a quotation for solar panels with installation, however, I would like to function off grid as much as possible.
I dont need something complicated or expensive. I just need a back up system that I can use to run fridge, laptops, lights, TV and anything lighter. I use gas for cooking and have solar geyser installed. I also don't want contract I need something I can pay off once off and maybe have to deal with maintance of the system
