When do I need a building permit in South Africa?
In South Africa, building applications for the construction of property and land use are highly regulated.
1. We request the Roma style for all the doors, but that they are SOLID core MDF (or alternative), 2. We request raw and unpainted finished product, 3. Please remove D28 and D30 from the quoting process, 4. The following doors are external: D1, D29 5. Do you supply door hinges for these solid doors? Good day, we have a current house that we would like to extend/renovate and also add a little cottage to the property. We have something in mind but would like to get a professional opinion as to whether it is possible or a better design plan of what would be possible as well as keeping cost to a minimum taking the area onto consideration. I would like to redesign my kitchen, living areas and outdoor area. In my kitchen, I would like to remove the kitchen walls and part of the second floor to open up the space. We would like to extend our bathroom, add a shower, add an additional 3 rooms and a courtyard. This will all be added to an outside room that we are currently using as a bedroom, the one room will be a lounge open plan kitchen. The other two rooms, one will be a second bedroom and the other will be made into a study. We want the bathroom, kitchen and study to all lead to the courtyard.

A sliding door will be installed after the veranda. When the door is installed, the step needs to be adjusted by a builder and the plastering around the frame has been completed.
