He was quick to provide a quote and seemed to understand the building trade. Was friendly and I wanted to help him and gave him the job. Not the cheapest. He seems to understand that taking down my boundary wall was a security risk for my family and my pets and he seemed to understand that the jobs had to done quickly.

Endless delays; "2 or 3 days work" was done over 3 weeks. "Builder" had no control over subcontractors doing the work or starting on time. Waited days for deliveries. Section of my boundary wall was down for weeks and not secure and this did not seem to bother "the Builder" Quoted work to be done and work done not the same. Quoted and paid for new foundation, new pillars reinforced with steel. These guys just levelled current foundation and bricked-up and then added pillars as an after thought. "Builder" did not supervise building work at all and I had to check up and even stopped the guys from closing by pool back-wash pipe ...

Absolutely nothing positive to say so far.

They haven’t done anything yet. Am considering cancelling
