I already have 2 X 20 KVA systems ay 2 diffetent locations. Gridd tied to Eskom. I want to go off grid. I want to use as much of the existing infrastricture. The sole purpose is to run 2 x 15 kw pumps daily as long as posible from September to March.(about 12 hours) Thereafter 2 to 4 hour per day should suffice. Thereafter, for the rest of th year
I am looking to cover 80% of our electricity bill from solar. dont want to go off the grid. we have a North west facing building in bramley park johannesbur. Our peak power demand is 18kW. the highest dailey consumption rate is KW with an everage closer to KW. our consumption hours are from 7:00-17:00. I am looking for approxametly 45 panels (W each), with a 20KW inverter. no batterries. please may i get some quotes
I have a solar system installed in my house and want to register it by Eskom. I had an electrical engineer at my house for the assessment and I was informed that there were no light indicators on my inverter, breakers were not marked, etc. I feel that I'm consuming too much electricity and that the solar system has no affect.
The house is to accommodate 20 students in 12 rooms who need two stoves, four Microwaves, four geysers, two washing machines, ten medium size fridges, 20 internal and 10 external security lights and 40 double room plugs, an electric fence. Not all activities requiring electric power simultaneously: stoves are used 2hrs morning (6-8 am) and 2 hrs evening (5-7 pm); Geysers are to be timed twice for 2 hrs (4-6 am & 6-8 pm); no hot water in kitchen sinks or hand wash basins.
Looking for a residential system of 12 KW using sunsynk / deye / victron inverter (or similar calibre) and 3-4 5KWh pylontech lithium batteries (or similar calibre). Have about m2 of roof (floorspace under roof [not including slant] need to measure properly). Also need installation in Cape Town as soon as is practical. Please provide some options on a sliding scale of cost from low to high varying the capacity (e.g. number of batteries / panels) and quality of equipment (e.g. brand of inverter / batteries). Many thanks
Solar back up power for a double storey residential property. The property has gas stove, solar geyser and pool heater however, the electric fence, jacuzzi and pool pump are using electricity. The important items to back up is the security system including alarm, cameras, lights, gate and garage door motors, lights and household appliances such as the fridge. Thank you.
2 Bedroom wooden house +- 16 km outside Bronkhorstspruit on the old Pretoria road. I am also interested in a solar borehole pump but are not sure of the meters Currently, in town we are using about R prepaid electricity per month, including a geyser. I would like to install a gas and solar geyser
Here’s a more polished version: "This is a standard three-bedroom house with an open-plan kitchen and a double garage. I plan to use the inverter for the lights, TV, and fridge. Roof: Tiled The breaker distribution (BD) board is located in the living room. I would like the inverter and batteries to be installed in the same room, but on the opposite side of the wall. There is roof access to route the solar panel cables to the inverter. This is a single-house, single-phase setup."
1. Need a quote on a off grit system for a 4 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms plus 3 bedroom flat with one bath room. Both have separate kitchens . Single phase and complete installation on Corrugated steel roof. Small outdoor swimming pool. Need to specify the warranty on Inverter , batteries and solar panels . 2. Separate quote on the same installation as above , but excluding bathroom geysers and kitchen stoves.
this is for budgeting purpose. we will probably require an 8 or 10 kw installation. maybe with a separate solar geyser or conversion. basically manage when Eskom lets us down for more than just a few hours of loadshedding. its a smallish house, but we do have a water pump for using rainwater in the house when we do not get fresh water feed from municipality. 2 permanent occupants.
