Do I need an architect if I want to build a house in South Africa?
A professional that is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession must submit the building plans before extending, renovating or building a home.
I wand a sqm 4 bedroom house and 8 room b&b that has a kitchenette own bath. With separate dining and full kitchen and lounge on the sqm.
I want someone who'll decorate my new house. Someone who'll buy me furniture and decorate the house 4 bedrooms house, kitchen , dining room then 2 bathroom plus separate bathroom.

i am looking for someone who can do my plans for building a house i have a rough plan or drawing which needs some help. 4 bedroom , I also need a good layout of the septic tank , I also am looking for solar panels to be incorporated in the house . All 4 bedrooms will be en suite and 1 bathroom for the guests . 1 Kitchen 2 lounge Modern looking house , Double garage . 1 dinning area. I am in Malawi so the house will be built in Malawi.

Hi, The house is already built, and I have the approved plans with me. The house currently is square meters. There are 3 balconies, roughly totalling 18 square meters. Optionally, I want to add to the plan a room above my garage. The garage has a roof over it and is 36 square meters. I can discuss this further with the architect. I require the plan to be modified as above, approval with the home owners association board in my estate, and then approval at the deeds office. I need the fee for this service, and how long this process will take. Also aware that professionals might not edit someone elses work. So advice how we will go about.
