The flat roof on the second storey of my house in Hermanus has a problem. As water is running down the inside of the length of the wall I suspect all the flashing needs replacing, & possibly the parapets need redoing too. One of the big six roof sheets might also be damaged, but it is impossible to know at this stage. Viewing of the roof will only be possible in about 10 days time, but I need a rough guess now as I have to have funds put aside in the next 2 days or loose them. I will not hold anyone to any estimate, especially as no-one knows what the problem is, I just need an idea of possible costs at this stage.
Ita on a deck exactly similar to the one displayed on the attachments. The video attached is ons that was already done in regards to the paint being removed . Installation of ceiling fans, ceiling lights and repair of oven. 1. Ceiling fan (and light) in the lounge: Installation of fan with a new fitting and "line". A new switch will have to be fitted. Current switch has two "levers" and this will require its own. Fitting a 3 lever switch. 2. Ceiling fan (and light) in the bedroom: Installation of fan and a new fitting and "line". A new switch will have to be fitted. Current switch has one "lever" and this will require its own. Fitting a 2 lever switch. 3. Installation of 4 new in-ceiling lights added to existing lines and switches between dining room and kitchen. - I have the ceiling fans and light fittings for the above. I will be purchasing new switches for the above. 4. Evaluation and Repair of oven. Faulty element? The oven preheats but after a few minutes it trips the DB board. The oven is a Defy undercounter oven - UMS. 5. Fitting a switch for a light in a corner cupboard (pantry cupboard). The light is an in-ceiling light linked to the kitchen ceiling lights. I would like to have a separate switch to turn this light off independently. 6. Replacement of current in-ceiling lights (standard GU10 bulb fitting and "holder") in bathroom (2 fittings) to a fitting that is better sealed from moisture for this environment.
I would like to refresh the interior (first phase) and exterior (second phase) of my house. The interior refresh will include painting the bathroom tiles, painting the floor tiles (whole house) and fixing cracks and holes in current tiling. The kitchen cabinets, tiles and walls will also require painting. Finally the interior walls will require repainting. Hopefully this can be done before the holidays. The exterior refresh will include repainting the boundary walls and the house exterior walls including the garage doors. Palisade fence between neighbors will also need to be painted white. This can happen in January.

I am moving into a new house and I want to change the wall colour in the lounge from a bright blue to Plascon’s Antique Petal (off-white/creme). The room is approximately 20sqm with only two full walls. (See attached photos). The contractor needs to have their own equipment. I would like for painting to commence on 14 December.
