A house based on karoo architecture with some restraints due to being situated in an urban conservation development in Montagu, Western Cape. I am trying to limit the first phase cost to R1m by building an initial open space, that can later be further developed. Initially, hopefully, a single bedroom, single bathroom, two car garage space. Excluding verandas, i expect about 22m by 8m ground coverage, with about 80m empty loft space. I am not looking at fitted rooms. Just good, basic design ideas. A first phase of no more than R1m.
