Hi I am waiting 4 weeks for 4 different other people for quotes.....no one is coming back. I want to install 12 panels already bought...the roof is flat with parapet wall. Special brackets must attached to parapet wall to lift the panels high enough to get a 35-40 degree angle back to the flat roof.......where it joints the flat roof it must also be raised about a 40cm to keep it away from the heat of the flat roof.......the cooler the panel the more efficient and it will also double the life if little away from the warm roof......that is after all why they install ipanels on floats on dams as well.
I need four solar panels mounted on my one-story roof similar to this panel: JA Solar W Monocrystalline Solar Panel | Black Frame. The panels will be connected to my 3.6 kw Kodak battery, which feeds a 5 kw hybrid Sun Synk inverter. The panels will be mounted on the west side of my roof, which has a 10 degree slope. The frame will be joined to 38 mm by 38 mm wooden batons underneath corrugated iron sheeting.

Dear Sir/Ma’am, I was hoping you could assist me. I have a house in a complex in Knysna and already have an 8kW invertor and 1 battery that has saved me through the Eskom two hour load shedding. I am now looking at installing solar panels and an additional battery. It would be great if you give me some more information on what solar panels I need as well as how many (my northern facing roof is about 25m2) panels I would require to charge the batteries. Load shedding backup system that one can upgrade. I would like someone to explain all the different back-up systems that are possible to use during load shedding so that I can make an informed decision.
