Very kind and respectful.
The caterer arrived 2 hours late for set up - 10 minutes AFTER the first guests arrived. They continued to prepare food and set out cold drinks and coffee for the next 45 minutes, so there was nothing ready to welcome my guests with, and it was a hot day at the poolside, and some of my guests were 90 years old. I wanted to spent time with my guests, but the caterer needed my attention for the first 45 minutes and that spoiled the party for me. The caterer stated the cost in an email, but I don't have a formal invoice or a tax receipt. I also had to do the calculation myself to pay 60% up front and 40 % after, because I was not invoiced formally , there was just an email with the cost of each item and the total and a line that said how payment was to be collected. Apart from that, it was good.
I paid kitchen sixty 7 for the hiring of a spit braai, they were supposed to deliver at 6pm on the agreed day it was then 8pm and still nothing from them. I would rate them 1 for being the worst as her phone was off every time we tried to get hold of her to find out what was happening.

We want to renew our wedding vows as we did not have our 1st wedding reception. I would like a harvest table for starters, cheeses, breads, meats (preserve type thing). For dinner I prefer, tapas style, different food coming out of the kitchen, served by waiters. I also want placed on self help tables, pizza slices, meatballs, etc. Dessert table should have small bite size treats.
We are an NGO trying to organise a fundraising dinner. the venue accomodates people. can you please comile some menu options for veg and non-veg meals ( curries and a couple of western dishes) and the cost of these options. Please note: No Pork or Beef items Please reply to Rekha Brijmohanlall at the following email address
I would like a traditional spitbraai with Lamb served with baby potatoes and onion, garlic bread, coleslaw and greek salad. How many grams of lamb per person is catered for. Possibilty of a bread table while meat is cooking. if it rains what is the contingency plan? Function will be at a residential property in Vermont for late afternoon/early evening.
This will be for an 80th Birthday party in a private house in Durbanville Hills. It will be an event where people will be encouraged to move around and chat so food must be selected onto a small plate and eaten without cutlery. So small robust disposable plates will be required. Feel free to contact me for more info.
We are looking for platters that can be enough for 16 tables of 10, each table to have assorted platters but the 16th platter should be vegetarian for 1 person, if I may ask no corn Melies and eggs on platters, even nothing spicy at all maybe BBQ will be fine no chillies. Feel free to drop me a text on Whatsapp. Thank you
Hi, Please forward a quote for 55 adults – lamb spit braai with potatoes and beans. Please quote on buns. Let's start simple and work from there. Confirm you are available, you will set up early enough so people can eat by 16:00. We will allocate a person to man the spit unless the spit comes with an operator.
We looking for simplicity: we have a small ceremony at home and afterwards, the guest will have something to eat. My partner and I are not into this whole thing of weddings. We are so useless when it comes to decors. and we are low on finances so we just want to see if we can make some families happy
