My mum had bought a house, but shortly after, was retrenched from her job due to restructuring. The bank currently has a legal case against my mum, despite my mum trying to pay and set up payment plans. My Mum was also in line for a really good paying job opportunity that would have allowed for her to make bigger payments towards everything, however due to the ongoing dispute with the bank, they had to rescind the contract. Another lawyer was assisting my mum, and was supposed to send a letter of demand on her behalf, however when the bank sent a summons, they said that they have to work on a contingency basis.
