I’m looking to purchase a plot and I wanted a quote on how much it will cost to build 7 two story duplexes(two bedroom ,1 bathroom ,a lounge and kitchen I would like a double layor of clay brick wall (face brick) with the following measurements: Height: 6m Length: 7m Width :4m Please ignore walls inside that seperates two rooms and toilet and ignore stairs . If you can quote and give me a breakdown of everything that is required and how much everything will cost aswell as labour and time period on estimate . We have been seperated for more than 3 years. We have no contact at all. I have grown up children 24 an 26 We are married In community of property. We require a quote for a sliding door - ideally 4-slatted - for a bathroom entrance/exit. Opaque glass, possibly with aluminium frame. Aperture width cm, aperture height cm (top of aperture is arched / curved). There are pillars within each side of the aperture, so the outer quarter of each side should be a solid panel, with the central two quarters sliding to each (opposite) side and closing in the middle. Latch / lock on inside. We are located in Glen Ashley, Durban North.
Freestanding house in a small estate in fourways (close to cedar square). Currently with an armed response company that is expensive. Alarm system is in the house only - paradox wireless, plus 2 panic button remotes. Complex itself already has 24hr guarded gate and 24hr linked boundary elec fence. I’m enquiring for my home only. This woman sold an item for me then conveniently 'lost' her wallet with her bank cards in it. Then 'someone' took money out of her account. She acknowledged the debt and said she'd pay me as soon as she sold other items on behalf of other people and made her commissions..we'll she ghosted me, stopped reading/replying to WhatsApp messages and never answered my calls. Basically she's a scammed. I've had a letter of debt sent too 2 addresses I had and both came back she no longer lives at either address. She continues to advertise items for sale via WhatsApp....
I need to replace the entire front boundry wall (approximately 26m in length) and possibly the construct one side boundry with neighbor (approximately 36m) I need the job to be done securely and affordable. Between the 2 properties affected there are 6 large dogs that would need to be kept in mind.
We have a plot on the R 24 behind the Excalibur Castle. The main house is currently standing empty. The garden is not maintained but needs to be cleaned for property viewers/buyers. The fencing around the yard needs to be cleaned for security guards to patrol during shifts. I haven't got pictures of the premises but I can take someone to view and quote.

We employed a worker on a "day to day" basis for two days per week, since October last year. When we were not here, as we are out of the country often, she was requested to not work those days. So, essentially, she worked when we needed her, on the days that we reqested her to work We paid for a full day, at a rate higher than she requested, even though she often finished at about lunch time, never working the full day. The higher rate was paid to compensate for any statutory payments that may, or may not, be required on any payment to casual workers. She was often given items to take home, over and above her pay. Each month she would advise how many days she worked, and she would be paid accordingly. We had items disappearing and decided to not make police cases as we did not want to cause an issue. She borrowed money on occasions, where we assisted her. The last straw in the relationship was when she called our family the beginning of May this year, while I was in Zambia, to discuss not receiving payment when she requested a "cash send" payment, rather than the normal bank account transfer, that went wrong technically. Previous payments made to her bank account went through without any issues. This created unacceptable tension and she was asked to leave. We paid for the full day even though she worked 1 hour. The arbitration date has been set for a date when both my wife and I are not in Cape Town. Our tickets were booked the beginning of the year already. Please advise.
