Current electric water heater has sprung a leak. Investigating solar heater option, or solar / electric combo. We are a couple in the house with occasional visitors. We have had litre and litre geysers. There is space between the ceiling and the roof for a holding tank. The roof direction is east / west. For my home. Swimming pool .2 Geyser. 6 aircon 2 friges .4 bedrooms,study double garage. Koi pumps. Fish tanks with heaters ( -+15 tanks) JoJo pump. Full laundry and Kitchen and outdoor lights. At moment using a 10kW genie but can’t pull geysers aircon and four plate stove. So it looks like I need a bigger genie or solar system to run the house. Maybe 20kw solar or bigger.
