7 things to consider when building a carport
Before building a carport, you need to know what you want and what you can afford.
Want to upgrade old wired system to fully wifi and cctv system for property currently on armed response adt for last 27 years. Main house 6 rooms and outhouse garage and workshop 3 rooms and Wendy house. Currently on adt alarm radio monitoring system and unmonitored electric fence and simple ellies desktop front gate camera. Need to be pet friendly..3 cats have main house access ..2 very active dogs have full property outdoor access when not at home..they currently set off wired beams outside. I need: 1. Carport for 2 cars +- 8*7 sq - IBR 2. Kitchen porch/cover +-7*1.3 sq - Chromadek 3. Front porch/cover +- 7*1.5 sq - IBR with Wendy House Wood ceiling 4. I will prefer not to use poles but rather use support pillars build with face brick which I have available. This will match the face brick of my house

Hi I am looking for a carport that would be 8m long to fit two cars next to each other, please. I would like to hang roller/drop blind on each side of the carport. I have a double door garage and interested in a simple but smart carport with open sides and my house have no gutters I want the water from the roof to fall on the carport then to the garden in other words the carport should slant a bit to the garden which will be on the left from main gate.I had a net scotch type of a port but now have put some corrugated irons on the scotch shape but not happy with it at all.Want to give it a nice flat design
