How much does an architect cost in South Africa?

The house has already been built, I just need someone to draw an updated plan and submit it to council for approval.
I already have drawn up plans, that has been rejected twice by council. Few changes to be made which current architect did not make on my request. Requirements, open ceiling for living area and kitchen, no scullery. No double front door, but a swivel door. No windows where the fireplace is except for patio doors. No down lighters, single lights in rooms and bathrooms, and 3 lights throughout kitchen and living area (I have photos of what I want).
I wish the architect to see the plan of the existing house, ERF size and our intended changes to be made.
