As you may know, I have a child with an individual who has been incredibly unsupportive since the beginning of the pregnancy. He continues to deny that the baby, who is now over 15 months old, is his. The experience has been quite difficult for me, especially since my baby was born prematurely. The emotional turmoil has been compounded by the constant verbal abuse I have endured from him. Despite everything, I remain hopeful, as we are currently awaiting the results of a DNA test to clarify the paternity. We are looking to acquire a property that we would like to remodel. Before making an offer on the house, we would like to get a rough understanding of what the project would cost. The project should then start immediately after the title of the house has been transferred. Besides modernizing the interior (more open plan living layouts, new floors, new bathrooms (5) and new kitchens (2)) we also want to build a pool and paint the house a different color, potentially changing the look of the brick house by plastering the outside. I am in the process of making a property purchase, that is very straight forward. The Estate agency appointed conveyancers to do the transfer, I asked them for a discount on the fees, as I have received a discount on the bond registration fees, I felt it was reasonable to ask. I was told this is usually only done for recurring clients. I would like to find out if this is true and if not, could I get quotes to potentially then switch the conveyancers.

We have an area under a tree where grass does not want to grow. It throws it leaves off in winter. Now my husband leaves those leaves there to cover the ground. I think to cover the area with little klippies or immitation grass can be a solution. It is just this area where I would like advice. It is difficult to give dimensions

We are in a dual living house with 2 adjoined units. Unit 2 already has a Victron 3kw inverter with sufficient solar panels and lithium iron batteries. We wish to add a second Victron 3Kw inverter with related solar panels (installed on a flat roof) to unit 1. We already have the required lithium iron batteries currently supporting an invertor that is to be discarded. We hope to have the 2 Victron invertors connected in series to work together?
