7 things to consider when building a carport
Before building a carport, you need to know what you want and what you can afford.

Replacement for hinged old double wooden doors with cottage pane windows. cm high wide and about 20 cm depth of the wall. Considering aluminium replacement. Prefer NOT just full plain glass from a security perspective BUT will consider it as an option, please. What hinged options do you have? Not a supporter of sliding doors from a security perspective alone. Security of the door is key, the nature of the door itself, the security of locking, etc. House has a lot of wooden cottage panes! Need space to house a caravan and a trailer (approx. 6 x 7m with a minimum height of 2.7m). I want the carport to double as a garage, i.e. closed sides and roll-up doors, and also a pedestrian entrance door. The area needs to be deforested, levelled and paved, you may include this in your quote or I could source an alternative provider for this.

We have 24 carports (steel) and a shade net for 3 cars. We would like to fix the current carports (steel) with new steel and fix the shade net. The other option would be to completely change the steel carports to shade nets, so we would like 2 different quotes: 1. Fixing current carports 2. We have a Hollywood type garage and would like to install a double garage door. The roof is a corrugated roof structure and is close to the opening of the carport, a roller shutter door type will not fit, so the installation should be based on a slidding type track. We have been looking at Chromadec or alternatively Alu-zinc type door, preferably the Double Charcoal 40 Panel type door.
I have old metal gates that my late dad put in years ago. I had palisades put in to heighten the walls, to make the property more secure. Now I need the gates heightened by joining them to a metal base that must be made. I will accept advice on best method and materials to use. I also want to convert these gates from swing gates to folding sliding gates placed onto a metal rail. I attach a rough schematic. I attach pictures taken of the palisade installation. It can be see that the gates need a base to be made to heighten per schematic attached. Please advise.
Two carports. The first one is about 7.4m W x 6mL. One side (6mL) will be fixed against a wall and the other side on poles. No middle pole on the 7.4 m width side. That side is the entry side for the vehicles. Second one. 6mL x3m W. 6m side fixed against a wall. no poles on the other side. Lots of wind and close to the sea. Must be rust-resistant.
