How to prepare your house for interior painting
Let's go over the steps you can take to prepare your home for a painting project
Portion of roof over double volume has translucent sheeting (I think it is glass fiber installed 20 years ago: 4 sheets wide and c. 1,5 M long on both sides (E and W)) which was damaged by the recent hail storm. A small hole (± 20mm) appeared after the storm. So I guess the sheets will have to be replaced with corrugated polycarbonate sheets.
Need to connect a 3 wire Franklin Electric borehole pump to a modern switching gear also from Franklin Electric - The insurance guy disconnected the pump from the old box and said the box was faulty, thus got another better box. Thus no indication which wires are connecting where, thus testing of motor to be done. Box is already fixed to the wall and only need the connection to the pump and providing of a CoC for insurance purposes/
There’s an existing Boundary wall that needs to be demolished and reconstructed the wall is out of municipal lines and is built on top of the drain but the main reason for demolition is because the boundary wall wasn’t built prope from the first place. I need plans for a Garage and 2 Flatlets each with own toilet and shower.
I am looking to build a flat from my existing garage and out building.
Renovating bathroom. Everything has been removed already, main feed in the wall but new pipes required Toilet stays in the same place, but the pipes need to be slightly adjusted. Shower is moving to where the bath was - pipes from the baths main feed needs to be extended about another 1.5m for the shower. Basin is moving to where the shower was, piping just needs to be extended downwards. I have added 3 photos in the attachment option - I'm not sure if they've uploaded.
I am extending my home. We are hoping to be finished within the next few weeks, we are adding two rooms to the current property and need some quotes for the roofing of the extension.
Currently three separate rooms 1) small shower 2) small loo & basin. 3) loo + shower + basin & vanity. Required : knock down 2 walls, lift floor and wall tiles, cement/screed floors and walls, install one large wet room with 1 wall mounted loo, one large shower, one basin with vanity and one bathtub. I'd like exposed copper pipes throughout.
Bathroom walls need to be cleaned from mould/damp and then repainted. I have the colour codes for the paint at the hardware shop so matching colours is ok. The door frame to the bathroom also needs to be cleaned from mould/damp and repainted too. Bathroom size is cm x cm, and wall coverage that needs to be fixed is only cm high. I want to connect 6x watt solar panels to an existing Ecco 5.5 KW solar ready hybrid inverter. Panels only, excludes mounting brackets and cabling etc. are priced are R12, from Solar Warehouse. Panel mounting and wiring quotes requested. Separate quote requested to connect inverter output to DB via manual switch that selects utility or inverter. Inverter and DB are in same room.
