Electrical fences are dangerous, so you need to obtain permission before installing them. What are they? Where do you get them?
Hello there I work at Bodhi Khaya Retreat Centre in Gansbaai. We have several incidents with baboons breaking the glass roof of one of our houses at the premises. Installation of ceiling fans, ceiling lights and repair of oven. 1. Ceiling fan (and light) in the lounge: Installation of fan with a new fitting and "line". A new switch will have to be fitted. Current switch has two "levers" and this will require its own. Fitting a 3 lever switch. 2. Ceiling fan (and light) in the bedroom: Installation of fan and a new fitting and "line". Note that there is one which was installed by the previous owner (DIY) which is currently not working at all due to its poorly installation. 2 Bedroom House that requires wiring. Open plan kitchen to the lounge area, 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms and future balcony. DB box installed, however the electricity meter in the bedroom needs to move to the DB Box in the kitchen. I would also need a COC. This is a newly build houseon a square meter plot.
Need further advice. Planning on purchasing 2 Hectare plot for residential and small scale farming. The plan is to live and do farming on 1 hectare and use the other hectare for livestock grazing for 10 years and then sell it. Is is then wise to install electric on the entire 2 hectare or just 1 hectare and do normal razor wire fencing on one. The livestock will graze and be returned each day back into the electric fenced hectare.

We are soon moving into a panhandle house and would like to enclose the garden area next to the driveway to keep the dogs off the driveway when entering. We have no idea how long the fence has to be, but I estimate it is approximately 40m in length. The fence does not have to be too high (about 1.2m in height should be sufficient)
